In my previous post, Saturday Ride, you may recall I mentioned in passing my new parking technique. The horizontal park. I thought at the time I had torn my hamstring and it looks like I was right. The evidence below.
You can even see the little spot at the top of the Hematoma where the tear occurred, the resulting pooling of the blood, and then the trickle down under the skin towards the back of my knee. I am just grateful it was me hurt and not the bike. I heal for free, fixing the bike costs money at exorbitant BMW Engineer rates!
Note to self, check the ground where you plan to put your foot down when parking a motorbike to make sure there is not a hole under the grass and stones to make your foot slip.
They say you can't be a Hillbilly Blogger without a motorbike. I say that's city-folk logic. At 65, I’ve cashed in my chips, sold the bike, and signed up for the quiet life. This blog is a collection of observations from a man who no longer has to set an alarm clock or answer to anyone but his own common sense. I post when the mood strikes—which, historically, is once every 2,920 days.

For those that love a bit of blood and gore, here is a video I took of me having a lump removed from my arm.
